Let me begin by providing a bit of insight into the EQtainment company.
EQtainment is this amazing company that centers themselves around the social, emotional, and behavioral development of children through play. They have curated a remarkable lineup of children's games that zone in on those (often overlooked) developmental areas. They offer many tools for parents to work with their children to improve in those areas in the most fun ways possible. Expertise areas that are addressed with these games are problem solving, empathy, self awareness, responsibility, manners, and more.

This picture shows the arrival of the house party kit that I was provided which contains Q's Race to the Top board game, Q's Race to the Top read-along story book, Q's Coloring/Activity book, Q's Race to the Top On-The-Go Pack, and Q Time Buddy:

EQtainment also offers an app called QWunder to keep track of your little one's progress in those developmental areas.

============================================== Q The Monkey

*5/5*

The star of EQtainment, and the star of my house party was Q Wunder himself. Q came with the instructions for a breathing exercise meant to teach children self control and emotion management.

- Place Q on your tummy
- Tap three times on your forehead as you breathe in. Watch Q go up.
- Tap three times on your forehead as you breathe out. Watch Q go down.

Q's Race to the Top Board Game
*5/5*

This amazing board game offers focus around a child's social skills, manners, creative thinking, speech, balance, and coordination. Placed together with a simplistic style for a game for kids ages 3 and up. The game is driven by three sets of cards labeled "You", "Q", and "Do", to teach children different skills and push them into a self realization.

Q's Coloring Book
*4/5*

EQtainment never stops to amaze as they catered to the more creative side of children as well through their coloring book! The coloring book offers large and simplistic photos of Q Wunder exploring the world around him as well as himself. The book includes interactive activities such as having children draw expressions on Q's face "mad", "sad", "happy", etc. There are puzzles for them to solve to hone in with critical thinking as well.  The little ones didn't seem to mind sharing pages to color and worked through the activities together. The words are simple enough to aid in teaching them how to read as well. The only qualms I would have are that: it would have been nice to see the book either offer more pages or at least back ground images, or a few crayons with the book as it is priced at $4.99. Apart from those concerns, its a wonderful start for learning tools and even gave me ideas on what I should be purchasing in the future to further my daughter's life skills.

Q's Wild Ride CD and Storybook
*5/5*

Q's Wild Ride Storybook is meant to focus on music and social skills, however I would also add attentiveness, reading skills and this book really could also add physical coordination if you provide children with certain hand gestures or movements to do with the story. The story is about Q the monkey and some of the mischief he gets himself into. The pictures are bright and very well drawn and the words on the page are not too long to lose attention, but long enough to keep the story interesting. The audio makes the experience a little more fun with added sound effects to the story, though it is not required to experience the story. I feel its a fun little story that teaches timeliness and critical thinking as Q is running late and needs to find a quick way to get there on time! Our children were very engaged with the story and have enjoyed both listening to the audio and the book again and again. I highly recommend this book.
