DISCLOSURE: I received this L'Oreal kit as a sample for free for testing and evaluating purposes.
The claims for this particular line of L'Oreal Paris Advanced Extraordinary Oil Hair Care set was that it would "eliminate dry hair in just one wash" by "using a lightweight formula of 6 oils."

My hair has a range of dryness to oiliness depending on the season and I would say my hair was a fair normal to combination when I was able to sample this product. My hair is usually flat and dull, colored many times, quite lifeless to be exact, so I decided to give this a try. I took a photo before using the product, then immediately after drying after only one use:
I did not do any extra styling other than allowing my hair to naturally air dry - which is not unusual for me. I did notice a distinct, immediate difference in the healthy appearance, soft touch, and added volume after only one wash.

SHAMPOO
The shampoo had a very welcoming lather that made me feel as though I could feel the shampoo bringing life back into my hair. It contains Argan, Chamomile, Coconut, Amla, Soja, and Sunflower. The aroma was inviting and gave the cleanliness scent without the chemical after-smell. It is easy to feel the slickness of the Argan, but it does not leave the oily residue in my hair. The bottle claims "For hair that is powerfully rejuvenated with weightless nutrition. Our Extraordinary Oil system instantly transforms dry, lifeless strands into silkier, softer, more lustrous hair." I can agree that my hair is brighter and has more life, and it does hold its claim of remaining weightless.

The below photo was taken after 2 weeks of washing with the L'Oreal Paris Advanced Hair Care Extraordinary Oil Shampoo:

CONDITIONER
I am not the type of person that conditions with every wash. For the sampling, to see if L'Oreal held up to their "one wash" claims, I did use the conditioner for the first wash. It contains the same 6 ingredients listed with the shampoo, the aroma matches that of the shampoo, and the texture was about the only noticeable difference as the conditioner was a bit thicker in consistency. I applied it after washing the shampoo out and left it in the recommended 1-3 minutes before rinsing. I could immediately tell a difference in my hair texture while rinsing the conditioner. Even while wet, my hair felt softer - and it still held up the claims of weightlessness. I now have a routine to perform the conditioning treatment once every 2 weeks - or as needed if my hair drys out sooner.

OIL SERUM
Oil Serums are a newer thing for me, as I had never went out of my way to treat my hair after the initial shampoo and conditioner and I am still on the fence about this one. The directions claim that it can be applied either before washing or after washing, or even before styling to "discipline your hair".

The first time I used it was after washing while my hair was still slightly dampened, I ran it through my hair and it felt like a greasy mess. It was difficult to not have droppings of the liquid or to not end up feeling like a slicked up fried chicken leg. I did not enjoy the messiness of the product after washing.
I tried a second time to apply before washing and did not feel as though it made too much of a difference as opposed to what the shampoo and conditioner already contributed. Before styling seemed irrelevant and gave more of a mess than was left to be desired.
The only plus side that I had in regards to the Oil Serum was that it does seem to do well more so on the ends of my hair in repairing split ends at the expense of making a huge mess.

Overall, I am very pleased with this product set and the opportunity to sample it because I otherwise would not have purchased! I highly recommend at least the shampoo and conditioner for those with dry, lifeless hair who want to see quick results. It smells amazing, is true to being lightweight, and is an amazing change.
